Choose an experienced air conditioning installer

Are they licensed and registered?

To become an air conditioner installer, applicants need to obtain a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration as well as a Refrigerant Handling License.
Businesses need to also be registered and licensed with various bodies to ensure compliance and honour workmanship guarantees and insurance, etc.
QBCC
Air conditioning installers in Queensland are required to register with the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC).
These pieces of paper don’t just tell you that your air conditioning technician knows their stuff. Applicants are required to:
- Provide written references
- Possess a minimum level of experience
- Offer evidence of technical qualifications
