Issue
The Existing School Hall would at times be highly occupied with people and become uncomfortable to be in due to the high heat load.
Solution
The hall required approximately 42 KW of cooling capacity when occupied. Tri-Tech installed 3 x 14 KW under ceiling units in the space. As there was no ceiling space to conceal the indoor units and the space was quite large the best option was under ceiling units. The under ceiling used are designed to be exposed and have a large air flow which makes them perfect for large spaces. The outdoor units were mounted on the roof of the adjoining walkway.
This project was completed in five days. The previous year Tri-Tech had air conditioned all of the classrooms above the hall so we were able to line all the newly installed outdoor units neatly alongside the existing systems.
