Tri-Tech Air Conditioning & Electrical delivered a highly specialised installation at a premium residence on the Gold Coast, overcoming challenging site access with a fully coordinated helicopter lift.
With limited ground access to position outdoor equipment, our team planned and executed a precision lift, safely transporting and installing the system components without delay to the construction schedule. This approach ensured minimal disruption while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.
System Overview
The home required a powerful and flexible climate control solution to service multiple living zones. Tri-Tech supplied and installed multiple Mitsubishi Electric City Multi condensers linked up to ceiling concealed Ducted fancoil units, delivering efficient, whole-home comfort.
Controls & Functionality
Each unit is equipped with its own wall-mounted controller, allowing independent operation and precise temperature control throughout the home. This setup provides flexibility for occupants while supporting efficient energy use. At the main entry a central controller that operates every system that was installed.
Installation Approach
To streamline the project and reduce unnecessary structural modifications, some of the existing ducting and registers were retained. Tri-Tech supplied and installed new transition pieces to integrate seamlessly with the existing solid ductwork.
he installation required ceiling access for 11 fan coil units, along with additional penetrations to accommodate pipework and cabling. All works were carefully coordinated with other trades, with patching and painting completed separately.
